"There is a nice exhibit about the volcano and the national park. There is also some information about the Teide observatory. The staff there was very nice. You can get a map of the Teide national park with hiking trails and view points.
There is also a cafe where you can buy some food and drinks.
It is also a good place to park your car and either take some pictures or go for a small hike. A short hiking trail begins and ends nearby. It took us about 2 hours and we stopped a lot to rest and take photos.
The parking is free and there are a lot of parking spaces, however, they can get filled up. We arrived around 9:30 and there were many free spots. When we came back from the hike around 11:30, it was full."
