What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find Planetarium Castellón a fascinating place, particularly enjoying the immersive space dome shows and the intriguing exhibits like the Foucault Pendulum. Staff are generally helpful, and English presentations are a plus when available. However, some note that projectors could be sharper and that shows are primarily in Spanish, with occasional rushes to exit.
"We had a great time here. We booked seats for one of their shows and appreciated that some staff spoke fluent English. After the show, there was a Q&A session for anyone who wanted to ask questions, which was a nice touch. However, I felt that the projectors weren't as sharp or bright as I had hoped; nowadays, projectors are generally of higher quality. Following the video, a staff member went through different star signs and explained various things, which was enjoyable. It's worth noting that the entire show and presentation were in Spanish. I felt a little bit rushed out as they were closing directly after the show. I would have wished to see the exhibition on the bottom floor but we were told leave."

The Immersive Dome Experience
Despite the language barrier for some, the visual storytelling often transcends language. The staff's efforts to provide explanations, even if in Spanish, are appreciated. For those seeking an English experience, it's crucial to check the schedule in advance, as English presentations are less frequent but highly valued by international visitors.
After the main projection, there's often a segment where a staff member explains different constellations and celestial phenomena. This interactive element adds significant value, allowing for a deeper understanding of the night sky. However, some visitors have felt a bit rushed out immediately after the show concludes, so maximizing your time inside the dome is key.

These exhibitions offer a chance to delve deeper into the wonders of space and astronomy. They are often free to access, making them a great addition to your visit, especially if you arrive early for your show. The displays cover a range of topics, providing educational and engaging content for all ages.
It's worth noting that some visitors have expressed a desire to spend more time exploring these lower-level exhibitions but were directed to leave as the venue closed. This underscores the importance of planning your visit to allow ample time for both the dome show and the accompanying exhibits.
