"Sadly no tours available (Monday night) but we came up to see sunset & sunrise. Cloud sadly blocked the sunset - but what a beautiful sunrise - and we witnessed the telescopes moving/closing 👍
Fabulous views (when it’s not in cloud!) but it’s sooo much colder than at sea level!
BUT there are lots of processionary caterpillar nests in the pine trees (with no traps) - so please be very careful where your dogs walk 😳"

"Stunning location as is the the drive to and from, ideal for landscape photography. Views are spectacular and quite quiet on a Sunday during November. There is one dedicated car park and parking near the observatories themselves although signage is confusing as each entrance road says authorized personal only"
