What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Barceloneta Beach is a vibrant and convenient city beach, praised for its lively atmosphere and proximity to amenities. However, visitors frequently warn about the high risk of pickpocketing, advising extreme caution with belongings. Many recommend exploring alternative beaches further along the coast for a more peaceful and enjoyable experience.
"Very big crowd, no sunbeds, you have to watch out for pickpockets and thieves, not my style unfortunately. The beach has fine sand, which is great, and the water is also beautiful, regardless of the fact that it is a city beach and that the port is not far away."
Sveto Rakovic
"On June 17, 2025, we travelled by public bus to the end of the line at Barcelona Beach. We were immediately drawn to the beautiful scenery of the blue sky meeting the ocean. We could watch planes taking off and landing at the airport. This side of the beach had fewer visitors, which we appreciated. We enjoyed our walk towards the W Hotel and finished with lunch at Fika. Afterward, we took a bus to explore other destinations in Barcelona. There were plenty of buses heading to the beach, making it very accessible"
Chris Cheong
"Accessible beach by different means of transport ,a lively atmosphere all day long ,a good place for a stroll or a swim .no sunbeds ,only umbrellas ,it's overcrowded but you can find a spot .it has a great view ,nice but expensive beach bars ."
