What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Vilamuseu for its excellent accessibility and engaging historical displays, making it a worthwhile visit for its low entry fee. Some international guests expressed a desire for more comprehensive English translations for videos and static exhibits to fully appreciate the content.
"Very nice experience thanks to the person in the front desk. He explained what to see and how to visit the museum. It would take 1-1.5 hours for the whole museum. Totally worthy. We enjoyed it so much, particularly the temporary exhibitions about Evaristo Alguacil"
Javier Moral-Sanz
"A nicely renovated building with displays described in Spanish, Valenciano and English. The history of the town is displayed chronologically so easy to follow the different phases. I was surprised there was little on Jaime 1 and his conquest of the region. Maybe there just aren’t the primary sources."
Keith Smith
"We visited the museum whilst on holiday. We gave 3 stars only as we were disappointed that the displays looked interesting however no facility is provided to relay it to us in English. For instance the video could have subtitles and static displays (photographs) could have additional information. Perhaps a headset programmed with the articles against a numbered index ?
We understand that it's Spanish history, but would be enjoyed by many more visitors if a translation facility were available.
Good luck for the future."
