What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Las Playitas for its unique, Greek-like charm with gleaming white houses and a picturesque harbor. The black sand beach and opportunities for swimming and sports training are highlights. While some find it small, its authentic atmosphere and stunning sea views make it a worthwhile visit for those seeking tranquility and a glimpse into traditional Fuerteventura life.
"A small quaint village"

"Loved it . Lovely coffee"
Christine Hogg
"The gleaming white houses are built close together along the harbor promenade on a hill. Las Playitas is more reminiscent of Greece. Its layout is unique in Fuerteventura.
In addition to a large bay and a black-sand beach, the town has a beautiful promenade. Two restaurants offer their services. The bay is suitable for swimming, and triathletes from the nearby Playitas Resort hotel complex also use it for swimming training.
Las Playitas has managed to retain its original charm to this day, even though a modern hotel complex is located right next door.
Thanks to the Playitas Resort, the entire area is geared towards sports, with various facilities for a wide variety of sports, and well-developed paths are ideal for running and cycling. Many competitive athletes from Europe have come to the hotel to train for the Olympics and World Championships. Pictures taken along the promenade are also worth seeing."
