"Remote, quiet and very windy."
Kateryna Levchak
"We got there by bicycle.
It was completed in 1994, on the ashes of those bonfires that guided sailors from Prau el Pico.
Located in the village of Luces (parish of Llastres), part of the municipality of Colunga, atop the famous Cape Lastres.
It features a cylindrical tower structure built of white masonry, with a square base.
The views from there are fantastic: to the west: cliffs that extend to Rodiles Beach and the Tazo lighthouse, clearly visible.
To the east: the view extends to Punta Misiera and Lastres can be seen.
It is perfectly fenced, with no access to the interior. Surrounding the fence is the viewpoint, which is fairly easy to access.
A visit is highly recommended."
Álvaro Casado Manso
"The Lastres Lighthouse can be seen very close up and is located in a spectacular setting. The cliff is breathtaking, offering stunning views of the Cantabrian Sea."
