Reviews Summary
Visitors find the Bufones de Santiuste to be a beautiful and unique natural spectacle, offering dramatic coastal scenery and impressive water spouts. However, many note that finding the location can be challenging due to poor signage, and the bufones are only visible under specific sea and wind conditions.
"Very nice place to see bufones. Also the coastal scenery is great.
Not so easy to reach. From the parking area you need to walk back (westbound) a few hundred meters (cross the railway and walk almost up to the km sign post). You'll see a yellow arrow on the road and from there there's a small gate in the fence and you're almost there. Just cross the railway and walk down to the bufones"
Daniel Brand
"lovely spot for a short break from the road. You’ll only see the water spouts though if there is a lot of wave and wind"
Damian Rafferty
"What a place this is!
I'd recommend going on a clear day, though obviously you would want the sea to be quite unsettled to enjoy the full strength and beauty of the bufones. It really is a magical place.
More signs needed on the main road as it actually took us ages to find it, but what an absolute gem!"
