Reviews Summary

Cala Vella is a stunningly beautiful, secluded cove with incredibly clear waters perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Visitors rave about the dramatic rocky landscape and the rewarding experience of reaching this hidden gem. However, be prepared for a very steep and challenging hike down and back up, with limited sandy space and slippery rocks, making it less suitable for families with young children or those seeking easy beach access.

"A few signs to the main paths would be great, going down, be carefull not to break something, coming back up? Dio mio, a level expert hike, got lost a few times, almost fell a few times, the spot on the rocks is beautiful to swim but dear god, the stairs from the street bring you to the very slippery sand and rocks path, coming back in flip flops, swimwear and a backpack was a challenge, just a few signs to were to climb up would be nice, the view at the beginning is breath taking anyway it s like seeing the sky but it the water, recommended for good hikers, for family? Not really... but it was nice, and pretty accessible with the bus 504 from palma, 10 mins walk to the stairs, very nice spot"

"Hike down & up was pretty steep, once at the bottom you’re in a very rocky area with waves that smash pretty hard off the rocks. It is pretty deep, deep enough to jump off of rocks into the water. It was really pretty coming down but felt like forever trying to go back up."

Megan

"Precious Cala with hardly any people, there isn't much place to lay down nicely due to the rocks. Swimming here is very beautiful, great for snorkeling. Short hike to get there with other beautiful swimming spots"
