"Came to the bodega (14.07.2025) from San Sebastian to book a wine tour for 30 people.
A member of staff called Natalia who works in the booking office refused to serve us and advised us to go to the website 🤦🏻♂️.
Even though it was a Monday and there were no other customers.
At the entrance to the winery, you are asked for your passport, as if you are entering a military facility, and customers are of course surprised that they are asked for documents so that they can buy wine and wine tour.
As a result, the mood was ruined, the wine tour was cancelled, and we decided not to buy the wine.
The winery lost over 2000€ in one day, and dozens of future customers.
We will do business with Luis Cañas where customers are welcome.
We will not return and do not advise friends to spend money on this bodega where they do not know good manners and customers are not welcome."

We were very happy to have Miriam give us a tour of the bodega. She was very knowledgeable about all aspects. about the bodega, all I can say is ...WOW! So technologically advanced and also strikingly beautiful. I've known and enjoyed their wines for almost 40 years. They made great wines back then and seeing their modern methods I have great confidence they will continue to do so. Bravo!

"One of the most advanced winery in Spain - new technology helps making wine much better than in the past, but still nature friendly. The cellars are impressive, there is also part of the old winery which is preserved as museum. And they prepare one of the best possible tastings!. The wine is served with different food freshly prepered by chefs end explained how it pairs. You can buy wine in an attractive shop which is also a bar."
