"This is a hidden gemstone. Set in between 2 large towns, this area is home to 2 of the world's rarest wildfowl, the endangered white-headed and marbled ducks. These can be seen here readily. Summer is the best time for visiting, as a lot of migrants arrive to join the resident species and can be all seen rather easily. My personal favourites are purple and squacco herons, little bitterns and bee-eaters. The entire area is beautiful just for views as well"
