What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Day trips from Malaga are highly praised for their variety and accessibility, with destinations like Ronda and Gibraltar receiving rave reviews for their historical significance and unique experiences. While most visitors have positive experiences, some note that tours can be long, and booking popular attractions like Caminito del Rey in advance is crucial.
"My family of 6, ages ranging from 11 to 78, all loved our day trip to Gibraltar with Thomas. He was such a friendly tour guide and very knowledgable about the area. He was with us from start to finish, where from picking us up at our hotel in the morning to dropping us off in the afternoon. Once we crossed the border, Carl from Gibraltar Inside-Out Rock Tours toured us around the Rock of Gibraltar, sharing his knowledge about Gibraltar with us, from being 100% Gibraltarian. All in all, this day trip will definitely stand out as one of the highlights on our 10-day trip to Spain."

"Thomas was an excellent tour guide! He was on time, polite and offered several great suggestions to enhance the tour. It was billed as 6 hours but we left the hotel at 9 and returned at 5:30. He did not rush us and was very knowledgeable about the history and the area. He took us to Ronda in a comfortable minivan and made sure that we saw all of the key sites of the city. He had the right balance between guiding and giving us time to explore on our own. He suggested a different route for the return trip that gave us a great view of the African coast and the Gibraltor. He gave us the chance to see several small towns along the Costa Del Sol that we wouldn’t have seen. I would highly recommend Thomas and his tours."

"Exceptional day trip to Ronda. This tour provider did an amazing job. Thomas picked us up on time from our hotel in Malaga, the ride to Ronda was beautiful and Thomas was very helpful pointing us all the interesting facts about this area of Spain. In Ronda we had a private guide (Antonio) who was amazing, we learned a lot about Ronda´s history. Then we had a wonderful lunch in a restaurant with breathtaking views recommended by Thomas. I highly recommend this tour and Costa Excursions."
