What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise MAC Empúries for its rich history, stunning coastal views, and the immersive experience of walking through ancient Greek and Roman ruins. Many find it a valuable educational site for understanding cultural development. However, some reviewers have expressed frustration with unclear signage and navigation within the site, as well as occasional issues with adherence to official closing times.
"The is a must be for every archeological interested person, but not limited to. The history tells you how Greeks sattled down, followed by the roman imperialist and the interaction and development of the culture, the society and the religion and health system. Changes happened at those interfaces in times, in places and in mindsets. It is today part of our lives, of our rules and our health."

"This is the worst museum in terms of navigation!!(( awful experience. We couldn’t find an entry to the main museum there was No inscription “museum” we were running with a stroller around the main building and staff didn’t mark an entry to the museum properly!! They put some stupid 3D experience open but didn’t mark the main entrance to the museum. On top of that they closed the museum at least 15 mins before official closing time. I am writing it at 17.50 and museum closes at 18.00 today. The management should be degraded"

"Keep considerable amount of time to explore this place. Highly recommended"
