"A truly magnificent park in Madrid; one of the smaller and lesser known parks, but it outshine the rest in its own way. The park isn't large like Retiro, but it has its gems. There is a lake with turtles, frogs and fish surrounded by couple of small waterfalls. Additionally nestled in between many trees is a small little area with beautiful trees, shade and water, with birds, where you can relax and feel nature. It wasn't crowded when we went. It offers open spaces as well shaded areas amongst trees. Must visit with your family and if you want to do a lazy picnic afternoon."

"Need a little maintenance but in general I enjoyed running there. And there was a lot of pidgeons which I loved."

"A clean and peaceful small park, ideal for a stroll, jog, or to sit on a bench in the shade. There's a small museum (closed for August) and plenty of shady trees to picnic under spread out a blanket in the sun and work on your tan. I went there late Sunday morning and it wasn't crowded at all."
