What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Palacio Real for its stunning architecture and the captivating temporary exhibitions it hosts, such as the 'Daughters of the Nile' and Da Vinci showcases. The 'Salón de Joyas' is a particular highlight, offering a glimpse into royal treasures. While some find it a bit pricey, the engaging staff and accessible facilities contribute to a highly recommended experience.
"I was lucky enough to see the "Daughters of the Nile" exhibit while it was on and both the exhibit and the building were amazing. The building has lovely architecture, its floorplan is well organized, with clean restrooms and it is wheelchair accesible. The exhibit was also jaw dropping and very well done! There was a piece of information about King Tutankhamen included in the exhibit that was very recent and had only just been written about in the art world. It is a shame the exhibit wasn't on longer! The group that organized the event was Grupo Eulen and I would recommend their exhibits or any event at this beautiful palace."

"The building is interesting in itself (architectonically speaking, I mean) but the exhibition we were coming to (Daughters of the Nile) it's outstanding. Lots of pieces borrowed from some thirty museums, all of them awesome, a really nice setup, including even some typhlological pieces to touch and to listen to explanations about them and some interesting videos about the main aspects, and a real-size burial chamber (there's even an early Roman-era mummy).
Plus, the people there are helping, knowledgeable and very kind and we attended a workshop on how to make masks.
Really worth your time and money. By the way, in the afternoon, before the workshop started, one of the person's on the staff guided us through the exhibition, which was a plus"

"Nice place. Hosts some interesting events. For example, it screens oldies,on Saturdays there is a party at the bar, and there are always a few free art exhibits going on. The atmosphere is relaxed. You can talk and chill on their big sofas. It is a bit on the expensive side though. I definitely keep a look at what they're planning."
