Our price per person was a little higher than average as I got the wagyu steak but all round it was reasonably priced for the quality of food we got. Would highly recommend."

"This was a dinner reservation for my husband and I on the our last night in Madrid. First the waiter / manager came over to ask us for help with the menu, when we said no and that we already knew what we wanted he said ok but then proceeded to tell us what he thought we should order. After we put in our order, which happened to not include any of his recommendations we never saw this man again. We had a different waitress who was always bothered when we asked her for things. Because of the energy we were given we decided to just do cocktails and tapas instead of a full dinner.

We were seated in a very bad area, I believe it was the salon. I absolutely do not recommend booking this area, lots of traffic as it is between the main dining room, bathrooms and private dining area. The bathrooms also not clean and locks not working which was surprising for an upscale restaurant and pricing.

Overall food was mid. We ordered the spinach croquettes, salmon tartar with caviar and scallops. All mediocre for the price. Would not come here again. Very disappointed for our last dinner in Madrid to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The only good comment I have were the drinks were great and strong.

Also noting if they give you the bread and olives and you don’t really want it, tell them so that they don’t automatically add 8€ to the bill. Apparently that’s a thing here. (Bread was also stale)

"We were in Madrid and made reservations to visit this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. It was 4 adults and 1 baby. We arrived early for our reservation and were asked to sit at the bar until our table was ready. After waiting about 15 minutes we were sat at the table. The atmosphere is clean and sophisticated. However very cramped. Other tables are less than an arm’s length away from you. We had multiple “servers” attend to our table. It seems as if there is one who takes the orders for drinks and food and another who checks in on the table, fills the water, and serves the food and another who comes to settle the bill.

After ordering drinks they served us what we thought were complimentary bread and pumpkin soup, because it was not on the menu and no one at the table ordered it. They were in fact not complimentary at all. They appeared on the bill at the end of the dinner. When I inquired about the charge suddenly English was no longer understood. English is fine when ordering the pricey drinks and meals but not when there is a complaint or inquiry into the bill. Interesting.

The drinks were good and the food was decent. This place was a nice visit but nothing spectacular. You’re not missing out if you don’t visit this place. I would have given it 3 out of 5 stars but I really don’t appreciate being given and charged for things I didn’t order. If the bread and soup is something they would like all guest to have and be charged for simply place a note on the menu or tell the guest as you serve them. I don’t appreciate sneaky money grabbing behavior over a couple euro and I felt that this was that. We were 4 adults and 1 baby, (who also had a whole meal) we spent plenty on drinks and food. If I were ever in Madrid I would not return here and I would not recommend others to visit. Not unless you like surprise charges mediocre service."
