Las #torrescolon de la Plaza de Colón de #Madrid han pasado bastantes penurias y todavía no hemos visto su final. Reviews Summary

The Torres de Colón are a polarizing landmark in Madrid, praised by some for their unique architectural innovation and historical significance, particularly their 'top-down' construction. Others find their aesthetic dated and unappealing, noting the contrast with more modern or classical buildings. They are best appreciated as a distinctive piece of the city's architectural evolution.

"Located near Plaza de Colón, the towers are surrounded by restaurants and cultural attractions, making the area lively and interesting. Even if you don’t enter the buildings, they are a must-see for architecture enthusiasts in Madrid."

Vivo Vázquez

"The Torres de Colón is an office building composed of two towers connected together and is located opposite the Plaza de Colón, next to the Monument to Christopher Columbus. This is one of those buildings that is sure to elicit polarised views. The building was completed in the 1970s and to be quite frank is a bit of an eye-sore. The brown tinted glass stands in contrast to the clean cut transparent glass, more modernist towers, not to mention the more elegant 18th century buildings on the same street. The copper green roof is a poor match for the glass facade and accentuates the ugliness of the building.

The only reason I noticed it is because I was near the Plaza de Colon and visiting the National library of Spain. Don't got out of the way to see it"
