What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find Parque Urbano del Sur to be a lovely, well-maintained green space with a charming pond and diverse wildlife. It's particularly popular during the Christmas season for its impressive light displays. While generally positive, some note minor issues like pond maintenance and the need for toilet paper in public restrooms.
"Lovely place to walk round and take in the wild life. Parakeets, Egrets, island canaries, Hoopoes to name but a few. A great cafe serving freshly made food. Very friendly and helpful"
Jane Thackray
"Nice park with green lawn, relatively clean installations. The pond has birds fishes and toads, there is a cafeteria to take a drink or grab some food, quite nice. They may need to get more oxygen into the pond though, as the green algae starting to grow a bit too much, won't happen as much if there is sufficient water turnaround, meaning more fresh oxygen in the water. But it's still clean enough and quite nice.
They're a picnic area and they're are public toilets too (I didn't enter those, so no comment about their state)"
Martin Schuster
"nice park, local feel, wc not at cafe but in park near canopy (no paper!) we climbed the rock in the park, don‘t underestimate it - loose holds and rusty anchor."
