Reviews Summary

Visitors appreciate the Muelle de Tharsis for its unique historical significance as a former mining pier and its picturesque sunset views. The industrial architecture is noted as a highlight, offering a glimpse into the region's past. However, some find its semi-ruined state a drawback, with a desire for more comprehensive restoration.

"The Tharsis Company's Embarcadero dock is as old and beautiful as the Riotinto Company's (the Tinto dock, as it is popularly known) and was used to unload the mineral from the Tharsis mines and the rest of the Andévalo towns. It is currently in a state of semi-ruin, but its offices and its typical construction of metal beams and wooden sleepers still have a singular beauty. We hope it will be rehabilitated soon for the enjoyment of all Huelva residents and visitors. #Huelva #DestinoHuelva #HuelvaGuapa"

Elías de Mora Pérez

"The Tharsis Pier in Huelva is a place worth visiting if you're in the area. This pier has an interesting history related to mining and mineral transport, which gives it a special touch. Walking around the site allows you to appreciate the ancient architecture and the beauty of the surroundings.

Although it's not a conventional tourist spot, here you can enjoy the tranquility and the surrounding landscape. If you like less crowded spaces, this is a good place for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle. There are areas to sit and admire the views, and it's usually well lit at sunset, making it a good spot for photos.

There aren't many amenities on the pier, so it's advisable to bring water and a snack if you plan to stay a while. It might also be interesting to know that the pier is close to other attractions in Huelva, so you can combine your visit. In short, the Tharsis Pier is an interesting spot to visit, enjoy the tranquility, and learn a little about the local history."

Pablo Toscano

"Former pier pier of the Tharsis mining company. Perhaps in a decade politicians will decide to get down to the task of restoring it before another symbol of the mining history of the province of Huelva disappears."
