Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise MUPAM for its free admission and unique plasticine history exhibits, which are both informative and entertaining. The friendly staff and the opportunity to see local art from various centuries add to the positive experience. While not as grand as some larger museums, its charm lies in its accessibility and distinct cultural offerings.

"One of the best museums in Malaga and it’s free. Nice exhibitions and not crowded at all.

Super friendly staff."

"Lots of different artists are exhibited here. Until December it also has a temporary exhibition of Mona Kuhn's Photographs which is really worth a visit. Also, it's free and close to the beach, so you can come in on your way there or back :)"

Mary Mauthe

"Interesting building, and free entry.
At the moment, and till the beginning of January 2025, they are hosting an exhibition of Antonio Montiel.
His art is very good. Although, most of the portraits are of famous Spanish people, which I don't know, apart from Reina Sofia, Rey Filipe VI, and Federico Garcia Lorca, his work is remarkable. There was a section about the divine, which was very interesting too.
Don't miss the other (I think permanent) exhibitions."
