La Malagueta is the most popular beach in Málaga, but is it actually worth the hype? 🌊🐚 It’s central and gets packed in summer, but there’s a reason people keep coming back 🧐 Is this your kind of beach? Let me know! #fyp #spain #malaga #beaches #travelguide #costadelsol #malagueta #CapCut

Reviews Summary

La Malagueta is a highly popular urban beach praised for its golden sands, convenient location, and lively atmosphere. Visitors enjoy the abundance of beach bars and amenities, making it a great spot for families and those seeking a vibrant beach experience. However, its popularity means it can get very crowded, and some find the sand to be more shail and dusty than soft.

"Playa Magaleta was a true highlight of my trip! This hidden gem offers clear turquoise waters, soft golden sand, and stunning natural surroundings. It’s a peaceful, relatively secluded beach that’s perfect for unwinding and soaking in the beauty of the landscape.

The beach is easy to access with a short walk from the parking area, and the calm waters make it ideal for a swim. There’s a relaxed vibe here, with just a few beach bars offering snacks and drinks, so it still feels wonderfully untouched.
If you’re looking for a quiet, beautiful spot to escape the crowds, Playa Magaleta is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back!"

"Lovely beach 2.5 miles walk along the waters edge from one side to the other. 5 miles all together. If you're expecting white soft sand then you'll be disappointed. It's shail close to the water and dusty sand further back from the sea. However the amount of visitors is a clear sign that it's enjoyable. Very very busy. But for me personally it just adds to the day. People watching and seeing families having fun. The sea is clear and paddle boarders enjoy the calmness of the sea on calm days."

Catherine Kendall

"Very nice beach close to the city center and the port. Went in March and still the water was nice although not in season. The pictures include the beach area up to the port."
