The free access to binoculars and telescopes enhances the birdwatching experience, making it a highly recommended spot for a relaxing and informative visit.
"Lovely visit, restored watermill used as a birdwatching centre. Chap in charge lent us each a really good pair of binoculars and let us get on with it. Note no parking, walk 500m from Helugueros"

"This is a very picturesque building in the middle of a swamp. There are binoculars and telescopes to get to see the local birds and wildlife. All is free and they also have English guides. The people who run it are very kind even though English is not their first language. Will strongly suggest it for a relaxing break."

"Although it may not look like much from the outside, you have to go inside and, above all, talk to Jose Antonio, the manager of this windmill's Interpretation Center. If you know nothing about birds, or even if you do, you'll discover with him a wonderful world where herons, black storks, kingfishers, etc., etc., coexist in this ecosystem with other species (fortunately saved from extinction), and they introduce themselves to us (when they want to), speaking through Jose's mouth. It must be fantastic to be able to come during peak birdwatching activity and enjoy watching the birds and listening to all the information he has to offer. I hope to return!"
