What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Torre de Can Mario for its impressive modernist architecture and the stunning panoramic views from the summit. It's seen as a symbol of Palafrugell and a worthwhile climb for its historical context and vistas. However, some visitors have expressed dissatisfaction with a lack of clear communication regarding the closure of permanent exhibitions when purchasing tickets.
"New visit, in this case to see the temporary exhibition of the artist Marcel Martí: Rhythm and Matter. Great exhibition by an artist who is very unknown to us in a magnificent space. We are eagerly awaiting the next one. We did not like the fact that, when buying the ticket, they explained to us that the same was used to see all the exhibitions, both the permanent and the temporary ones and at no time were we informed that the permanent exhibition was closed. Well, our first intention was to visit Marcel Martí's but since we were there we would have liked to have a look at the permanent exhibition. We understand that it may be closed but we do not understand that they do not inform before buying the ticket. Too bad."

"It's a water tower that shines by itself.
It used to supply water to the cork factories.
It can be visited."

"Visiting this town, I was struck by an iron structure, which at first seemed like an antenna repeater. We took photos from a distance to later see what it was. This iron structure, dating from 1904, was a water tank that supplied water to a cork factory. Today, it's a local attraction, which you can climb and enjoy the views. These things happen; you only discover what it's all about afterward. The photos we took remind us of what we didn't see."
