Parc de la Mar is a vast, scenic plaza offering breathtaking views of the Catedral de Mallorca and the Mediterranean Sea, especially stunning during sunset. While not a traditional park, its artificial lake provides beautiful reflections and the open space is perfect for strolls and picnics. Some visitors note potential parking challenges and the predominantly paved environment.
"Not really a park, but rather a huge square between the cathedral and the coastline.
There is a artificial lake, which intensifies the beauty of the cathedral, as it reflects to the lake.
Amazing views, both to the cathedral and towards the sea. Great place to enjoy the scenery, stroll around or enjoy a drink or snack in the bars in the area."

"Giant plaza, not a park in the meaning of nature. There are palmas, yes, there is a lake, yes, everything is very pretty and all, but it's cement. Very nice to walk around, quite busy at weekends, quite empty in a weekday in January. A few things to do, more objects to explore and take a picture of. I recommend you make a round of it both under and on the top line."

"Parc de la Mar is my go-to place to watch the sunset in Palma. It’s also great for picnics, jogging, and walking. Running in a circuit around the park almost perfectly completes one mile. Rain or shine it’s worth seeing! The cathedral view, old wall features, and beautiful view of the sunset make this a go-to. 😊"
