"Just happened on it during our family bike ride from ezcaba camping to Pamplona. Some ( very friendly) local kids were leaping off it into the river and they invited my grandson,Seb , to join them, which he did. An experience we shall all remember for ever. Gorgeous old bridge with lots of history attached 👍"

"Incredible - This is the most important of the four mediaeval bridges that cross the river Arga as is passes through Pamplona. It was built in the 12th century and later reformed in the 14th. It has three slightly pointed large arches, triangular cutwaters ..."

"Emblematic. This is a spot on the Camino that is one of the most famous. A beautiful bridge. Crossing this bridge leads the pilgrim into the ancient center of Pamplona and all the wonderful churches to pray in. BUT, real pilgrims look back. Spare a moment to turn 180 degrees and look back. There is a very special church behind you, belonging to the Daughters of Saint Joseph. It's very much worth the visit for the pilgrim on a true Catholic pilgrimage."
