What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Guests are captivated by the Parador's unique historical setting within a 15th-century convent, praising its atmospheric stone hallways and tranquil courtyards. However, some find the lack of an elevator inconvenient, and dining service can be slow with late start times. The building's age means some amenities might be dated, and navigating the town by car can be challenging.
"One of the best hotels ever visited. Nice town. Unbelievable building. Good food. Best breakfast"

"Fabulous room, pity there was so much outside noisy work going on, some staff quite blunt and off hand but the younger ones were a delight. Suggestion - perhaps dinner could be a little earlier, say 8pm? If you have travelled all day and are tired, waiting until 8.30pm - and then taking ages to be served - was not the best although we know paradores normally do dinner at 8.30. Paradore itself was beautiful and quiet, a real pleasure."

"There is no elevator at this place. If you have big luggage, you have to carry up and down stairs. The receptionist we met is very cold and indifferent. She is super slow. I gave 5 star only because of the servers at the restaurant. The room is quite clean and well-organized. The bathroom is very good despite of the fact that there is no ventilation fan in there. The breakfast looks good and taste OK. Make sure you place an a la Carter order for fried eggs and bacon, etc. The food is good and the service at the restaurant is impressive."
