What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the stunning natural beauty and secluded atmosphere of Playa de Güigüí, calling it a hidden paradise. However, many emphasize the extreme difficulty of the hike and the lack of facilities, advising thorough preparation. Some note the beach itself is nice but perhaps not as spectacular as the journey to get there.
"Gorgeous nature and an amazing beach. But be prepared. This is a real hike, 5 kilometers over a mountain and down again through a valley and landing at the beach. It is absolutely worth it but come prepared. 2 liters of water each person, leave water in the car, bring food to make the most of your stay at the beach. I saw a couple make the hike, stay 40 mins and leave again because they weren’t prepared."

"If you are planning to go to this beach you need to read this!
First of all you should know that it’s an 11.5 km hiking in total. With an ascent of around 900m.
This hiking is kinda hard if you are not used to this. 10% shadow on the trail! You need hiking shoes/boots! And be aware that there ia NO WATER! It s very hot and i would recommend at least 2l of water!
Im not trying to change your mind but the beach is not THAT nice… i’ve seen nicer.
If you are a business seeker, try going with a boat and sell water and drinks😉😉
Be aware that lots of people go UP 1.7km and when they see the rest of it ( which is going down and coming back up later ) to the beach they turn around! So… again. Dont forget water!"

"Beautiful nature hike with a reward of a nice wild sandy beach at the end. All the people we met were nice. Beach is sandy with calm ocean and perfect mild steep walk to get to the deeper water. No rocks in the water. The hike took us cca 2,5h one way with some breaks and observing the nature. The hike goes through a mountain so you have to ascend and then descend it to get to the beach. Cca 500m in elevation. And of course you have to do it both ways :) Bring water, some food, shoes and enjoy the raw nature :)))"
