"Stumbled across this small beach on a walk from Caleta, which incidentally is worth the lovely peaceful stroll, beach is quiet and picturesque with good rock mooching and a local restaurant plus some quaint looking buildings, right behind the beach you have the salt works and museum with an incredible natural skeleton of a young female fin whale that was woefully killed by ropes around her head. Definitely worth a visit."

"The "salinas" are definitely worth a visit, and the small Muellito beach is nice. But DO NOT EXPECT TO SWIM there. Water is extremely shallow and the bottom is rocky. So this is a place for a nice stroll along the coastline, but forget plunging into the water."
