"First time in a place where the temperature is 4 degree Celsius.
Love that scene.
You may think that you are dreaming.
As we don't see that kind of scene in Africa"
Yusuf Cassimally
"Definitely worth a visit. Installations are not wonderful, and when we there during the week, there was no bar or restaurant open.
You can hire cross country skis and sledges on site - prices are reasonable - skis & boots were 15€ per day, and sledge 8€.
Staff were pleasant and friendly.
Expect it to be very busy after snow at weekend. You do need to check with the police that the roads are clear (phone 011), it can take a couple of days for them to be cleared after snowfall."
