What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally praise the Puerto Rico Shopping Center, especially after its revamp, noting its cleaner, brighter atmosphere and increased welcoming feel. The variety of shops, bars, and restaurants, along with convenient transport links, are frequently highlighted as positives. While some reviews mention potential pushy sales tactics, many report polite and respectful interactions, allowing for a pleasant browsing experience.
"Visiting the area whilst on holiday and decided to walk down to the market and mall. The market is exactly what you'd expect on holiday and the mall was a nice modern shopping experience. Both open around 10am. Walked back via the beach and stopped at a beach cafe for a coffee. Totally pleasant and a nice excursion to break up sitting on a sun lounger"

"This place is so much better following it's revamp. It's cleaner and brighter and much more welcoming. Great buzz, plenty of shops, bars and eateries. The Hiperdino is well situated as not far from the taxi rank. And the fabulous "We are Warriors" charity shop is situated at the far end, next to the launderette in the lower tier, underneath Sunspot. It's well worth a visit."

"I had read quite a few reviews before visiting, including some negative ones about people following you around or being pushy to make a sale. Personally, I didn’t experience any of that. I was able to walk around freely, browse different shops, and if I didn’t find what I liked, I simply moved on and everyone I encountered was polite and respectful. Of course, that was my experience and it may not reflect everyone else’s.
The shopping center itself offers a nice variety of options, from bags and glasses to pharmacies, restaurants, and more. Conveniently, if you exit with the shopping center behind you, you’ll find a taxi queue to the right-hand side, which makes getting transport easy if needed."
