Reviews Summary

Salinas de Ayamonte offers a beautiful natural landscape ideal for birdwatching and gentle walks, but visitors should be aware of significant trail maintenance issues, including collapsed paths and bridges that can make circular routes impassable. Despite these drawbacks, the ecological importance and scenic beauty of the wetlands are still appreciated by many.

"Collapsed path impassable! The loop walk is not possible due to a collapsed path (into the creek). If you are physically capable of a scramble and are over 5'5" you will probably get through if there is no water in the creeks. HOWEVER It is not passable once the tidal waters begin flowing into the creeks. Also, quite a lot of dog poo and litter. BUT .... for naturalists to botanise or bird, it does offer good opportunities. You can use satellite Google maps to help orientate yourself on the paths."

H LB

"Only comment at the start of the walk there should be a sign indicating that the circular route was no longer possible due to a collapsed bridge"

Tracey Walsgrove

"A beautiful area for hiking or biking. Unfortunately, two bridges have been out of order for quite some time, making a circular hike impossible. This is, of course, very annoying; however, it's still worth a visit."
