What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Punta del Raset Beach receives mixed reviews, with many long-time visitors noting a decline in its condition due to significant seaweed accumulation, leading to unpleasant smells and difficulty accessing the water. While the sunsets and coastal views are appreciated, the lack of cleanliness and maintenance is a recurring complaint, prompting some to seek alternatives.
"They don't collect seaweed, it's a disgusting beach, with mosquitoes, bugs, and an unpleasant smell...
Avoid this beach 07/27/2025"
Victor Serrano Aranda
"I've been spending my summers here for 15 years, and it's always been wonderful... The last couple of years have been AWFUL.
The beach is covered in seaweed. You can't walk comfortably, the kids get tangled up in their long lines playing in the sand, and the smell of rotting seaweed is truly unpleasant. It's also noticeable that there isn't as much sand as in previous years.
They should invest in refurbishing and cleaning the beach. If this continues, I'll go somewhere else where I can enjoy my vacation."
Ana Ferrero
"I'd like to say it's a charming place with beautiful beaches, but the truth is, the seaweed is dried and rotten all over the beach, it smells awful, the children can't play like they've always done, and most importantly, there are people with reduced mobility who have a hard time getting into the water. Do they think they deserve less than environmentalists?
Whoever it may concern, please find a solution. Thank you."
