What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the unique experience of encountering thousands of tame wall lizards and the island's unspoiled natural beauty. The clear waters and scenic hiking trails are also frequently praised. Some find the island a bit basic if not into nature, and note the limited facilities and the need for preparation.
"We didn't walk very far from the boat as it was scorching hot. We found a picnic area and ate some breakfast and watched the lizards. There are thousands of them, they're really tame and come over to see what you are doing. They're very cute and a joy to watch. The surrounding sea is crystal clear and had we more time we would have definitely gone snorkeling. It's a bigger island than you'd think, and would take some commitment to cover. It is (mainly) unspoilt scenery though and I do recommend a visit if you are this side of the island."
