Visitors consistently praise the breathtaking natural beauty and unique geological features of the Sierras de Tejeda, Almijara y Alhama Natural Park. The diverse hiking trails, from serene river walks to thrilling gorge adventures, are a major draw. Some visitors note that certain areas can be challenging or require caution, particularly those with heights.

"While staying in Spain on an extended vacation, I rented a motor scooter for two days. Being on the southern coast there were plenty of mountains available. It took a little getting used to the small scooter as I ride a Honda Goldwing back in the States. I thoroughly enjoyed the fabulous scenery both days. It didn't take long to get out of the busy coastal area and start enjoying the curves and switchbacks. The weather cooperated both days with plenty of sunshine and wonderful temperatures."

Arthur E Hish

"Fantastic experience, the views are breathtaking and totally unique well worth the effort. I loved the experience and all the geophysical features of this fantastic gorge. This is a must see wonder of the world and if you book its free...... Not to be missed. One of my all time favourite trips to South Spain 🇪🇸"

Tyrone Tsan

"A great scenic walk along a narrowing shallow river gorge. Shady, large pebbles so wear old trainers and possibly walking sticks too. A nice route in the mountains. Thoroughly recommended."
