What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Cruz del Carmen for its stunning viewpoints, particularly the panoramic views of Teide on clear days, and the beautiful, accessible hiking trails through the laurisilva forest. The scenic drive is also a highlight. However, some note that facilities like restaurants and toilets have limited hours, and the visibility of Teide can be unpredictable due to cloud cover.
"A nice little piece of peace and heaven. Beautiful view from the viewpoint, beautiful drive there, nice roads, plenty of parking when we were there.
There are some trails from this point that you can easily hike if you are even somewhat mobile. I'm in horrible shape and I did just fine.
Only negative is that apparently their toilets close at 14:30."

"Beautiful Viewpoint, tho you will need a clear sky to see Teide"

"Really nice chilled out place. It gets busy in the afternoon. It's best to get there early as possible. Heats not gonna help with the trek, so morning chill is a god send. Two trails to follow as well as a third for wheelchair access. It's fun to do the trail and see nature"
