What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Cabo de Gata Lighthouse for its stunning natural beauty, particularly the dramatic Arrecife de las Sirenas rock formations and the serene, fish-filled waters below. The scenic drive and the pristine, uncrowded pebble beaches are also major draws. Some find the pebble beaches less comfortable than sand, and the arid landscape might not appeal to everyone.
"A very nice point with cool rocky formations in the sea! Moreover there's a wonderful beach underneath the lighthouse were the sea is very calm and full of fish (you can do some snorkeling in front of the beach and see about 20-30 different fish species, some of them getting as big as 40cm!). If you need the snorkeling gear you can rent it by the lighthouse for 10€ a day."
Timur Cetintas
"Beautiful, pristine beaches far from crowded vacation spots. No sand, but smooth pebbles—which I personally love (just don’t forget your flip-flops!). All set within a stunning national park."
