"A good selection of mainly independent shops including Dia supermarket with it's fresh fish, meat and bread counters. Forget Me Not is good for cards and party accessories. The optician has Maui Jim sunglasses which are polarised and block 100% of UVA and UVB rays. There will soon be a new bakery. There's a bookshop, a golf shop with a large range of clothes and equipment, a furniture shop, a home textile shop and a wine shop. There's a good café which has Illy café. And there's a MacDonalds if that's your thing. And there's plenty of parking."

"Apart from the Dia Supermarket, McDonalds is the only food place open early evening. And this particular one was dreadful. Disinterested staff, very slow service (my €7 Burger was parked for 8 minutes as the individual who moves it 2 metres to the collection point was 'detained elsewhere.' It was cold). And not clean. Full of noisy teenagers eating nothing. No surprise that they are going downhill. Avoid"
