"The Iglesia Santa María de Los Ángeles is a stunning church. The surrounding area is very nice to explore. Lots of interesting details to find.
But besides the impressive church, it's the amazing view from here that's most rewarding. A really breathtaking sight over the valley and the Braza Mayor. It carried quite a good amount of water when we visited. So the view was out of this world.
Here in northern Spain you almost feel that you got lost and ended up somewhere in Scotland with the green valleys and the water here. It's an impressive sight. We were almost the only ones around and had really time to enjoy it. Taking pics of course, but also just sitting and standing here and taking in these wonderful views.
Really worth the quick but steep walk up here from town. Highly recommended and one of the highlights of our trip."

"Beautiful viewpoint. A must see if you're in the area as it is near the castle on the hilltop and it's free! Best timing is around sunset.
The church can also be visited during certain times (adults: 1,50€ children: free) but I haven't seen it myself in the many times I've been here. There are some areas you can sort of safely climb as well along the crumbling wall."

"It was closed so we couldn't visit the church but the view around is beautiful. Worth stopping to enjoy the sunset."
