"Worth exploring if you’re in the town, recommend good walking/hiking shoes if heading up towards the tower as there are a lot of loose stones and gravel, but the views from the platform at the top are worth it. Spectacular from any vantage point."

"Great views over the surrounding areas"

"Castle located in a beautiful town in La Rioja, San Vicente de la Sonsierra, a town known in addition to its wine, during Holy Week for the picaos people who go out in procession with their bare backs flagellating themselves. The castle is quite well preserved and cared for. It is on a hill. It has beautiful views between very beautiful towns in Rioja and Álava, many mountains, vineyards and wineries. Furthermore, in all the towns in the area the food is very good and they have a very good Rioja wine."
