What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Playa de la Calzada is praised for its unbeatable location, offering easy access to Sanlúcar's town center and beach. However, visitors frequently point out significant drawbacks with the on-site parking, citing narrow entrances, tight spaces, and potential booking issues. The heat inside the parking lot is also a common complaint.
"There is no signing or reserved place at the entrance or thereafter. We had to pay 5.5 euro again despite the fact we already paid through your system which is completely unusable and useless I would advice not to get this to everybody"

"Parking lot. Does what it does"

"Today, Sunday at 1:30 at night, I went through the 3 closest entrances to the center of the parking lot, the road, up its stairs to the access door to its interior, and to my surprise, they were closed without any indication that it was not possible to go down since access is prohibited, since each descent by the stairs was completely closed, so we had to access the interior of the parking lot by the vehicle ramp, which is dangerous and prohibited to go down there. However, we have been going around in circles for a while and our concern is to be able to get our 2 vehicles parked inside. Once we managed to access it through an area prohibited to pedestrians, we went to the office, booth or information point of the parking lot but there was no one to help us and file a complaint. To top it off, the parking lot cost us somewhat, which is more like a bakery oven since it is incredibly hot. Let's say that I don't think they will use the extractors much to save even more. Ahhh, the entrance to access with vehicles. If you have a large car, you can scratch, dent, hit, or hit a corner, which is very, very tight due to the ridiculously narrow entrance.
And to top it off, the expensive cars, or supposedly higher-quality ones, as they will be known and will be tipped, take up two parking spaces without any problems. I have a good, expensive vehicle, which is my problem, and I had to position it between two cars, which practically couldn't fit due to its small size, even though there were larger spaces, but one vehicle could take up two spaces."
