Visitors find the Acuario Municipal de Santa Pola to be a charming, small aquarium with free admission, perfect for a quick, refreshing break from the heat. While some wish for more detailed information, its local Mediterranean focus and accessibility make it a well-loved spot for families and budget travelers alike. It's a delightful addition to a day in Santa Pola, rather than a destination in itself.
"This little aquarium is a short break from the city or summer heat.
It's quite small and gets really busy so busy in fact that you may have to wait in line to get in.
You will stay for max 30 - 40 minutes if so long.
But entry was free and although this was maybe not worth the trip to Santa Paula alone you could have a lovely day in the town and this aquarium be one stop in the day."
