"A fantastic interactive exhibition describing the way humans have developed over the last 300,000 years. Loads of displays, fascinating artefacts and information. You can do it in an hour but we took 2 and thoroughly enjoyed it. The value at €6 is exceptional in our view. Not really somewhere for small children but interested teenagers should enjoy it. All displays in Spanish, English and French 👌👍"

"If you are in Santander be sure to visit this museum. It is beautifully curated and is one of the top two museums in Europe. It has something for everyone and the screens have a button you can press for English & French. There are videos as well as artefacts, quizzes and lots of things for children to do."

"An outstanding museum and well worth a visit. Although it’s not particularly large I easily spent 2 hours there, a fascinating collection presented most effectively. The blend of artefacts many thousands of years old with modern architecture and presentation techniques really highlighted the exhibits, particularly the cave art which was fascinating. If you have the chance don’t miss it."
