What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Torre de la Peña for its magnificent views of Africa and the sea, along with its exceptionally clean facilities and friendly staff. It's a highly recommended spot for windsurfing and offers a peaceful atmosphere, though the beach isn't always ideal for swimming and external dining requires a walk along a busy road.
"Great camping, magnificent view. You can see Africa from here! Good beach (better to swim at low tide, could be hart to enter at high tide). Perfect toilettes and showers. Perfect supermarket, very small but has all you need, even frozen water, delicious friuts also, and souvenirs. Nice staff. Good price for the quality. Nice people with a lot of sweet dogs. We spent there two great relaxing days and would like to come back."

"We spent a night at this cozy campsite, and it truly felt like a little treasure chest by the ocean. The views were stunning, the atmosphere was peaceful, and the facilities were exceptionally clean. The pool was small but perfect for a quick dip, and the staff were helpful.
We got a pitch on the upper part of the campsite-not too big, and not the easiest to park in but it offered a great view.
Only some down side:
The nearby beach is not ideal for swimming, more suited for water sports like kitesurfing.
To reach restaurants, you have to walk along the main road next to traffic, which isn’t very pleasant.
There’s a small on-site shop with the basics and a nice beach bar.
Overall, a cute, peaceful stopover with unbeatable views. Great for a short stay if you’re exploring the Tarifa area by van!"

"Stunning views from this spotlessly clean site. Toilets and showers excellent, all facilities catered for. The bar/restaurant on the beach side was closed sadly but apart from that top notch. The only thing I will say is the vehicle entrance to the beach side of the site is extremely steep which may create problems for bigger units."
