"The Aqueduct of Ferreres near Tarragona is a stunning piece of Roman engineering from the 1st century AD. It once carried water into the ancient city of Tarraco and still stands today in remarkable condition. The structure is about 217 meters long and 27 meters high, built from massive stone blocks without mortar, with two elegant tiers of arches.
It’s very easy to visit: there’s a small parking lot nearby, and from there it’s just a 3-minute walk. Even if you don’t climb up to the top (which is possible on foot), the view from below is impressive enough. It’s one of those stops where you can get a real “wow effect” in 10 -15 minutes, making it perfect even with a stroller or during a road trip break."
