What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the stunning panoramic views of the Costa del Sol and the serene hiking experience through pine forests. Many appreciate the accessibility from nearby towns and the opportunity for a peaceful escape into nature. Some note the challenging descents and lack of facilities at the summit.
"Great walk from benalmádena. Takes about 2 hours, on easy roads and pathways. Very quiet on a sunny Tuesday spring day. Nothing open at the top. Walked back the other side of the mountain down to Alhaurin. Much more difficult to descend as the path is loose rock and stone and more of a scramble. But possible with decent trainers and strong legs."

"Beautiful scenic trail run. Access to the trails via winding concrete (closed to vehicles) road. Very quiet when I was there as only encountered one other jogger and 2 couples hiking the trails, whereas my start and finish at Benalmadena beachfront, joggers are a regular sight. Definitely returning here for longer day out on the trails."

"Extremely wild hike. We haven't seen any people.
Although, it was a great experience and lovely views.
Really recommend. There is no facility open on the top of the mountain. Take some water and food with you."
