What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the stunning modernist architecture and the vibrant culinary scene at Mercado de Colón. It's praised as a beautiful place for food, drinks, and soaking in the atmosphere, though some note it's more of a dining hub than a traditional market.
"It's more limited compared to the typical mercados in Spain. You can eat, drink, and shop inside, but there are fewer options. Don't expect the crowds or variety you'd find in other mercados. It has a calmer atmosphere. The building is very beautiful."

"This is a small market with two stories and parking below with elevator access. It is filled with many places to eat, including options such as horchata and dipping bread, coffee, gelato, sweet pastries, Japanese food, a full bar with a unique eclectic vibe, and on the second floor below ground level, there is a cheese and meat shop that also offers bottles of wine for sale. We went on a Monday around 7:30pm and many places were closed inside. Some of the restaurants are enclosed, and others offer open air seating. There aren't any actual retail shops, it is more of an eatery and small market. Very cute though and worth a walk."
