The free admission and the stunning cafe courtyard are frequently highlighted as major positives, contributing to its 'Best European Museum' award. Some minor drawbacks include occasional poor English translations.
"This Museum is a gem. They were very few people there. School children on field trips. The place is larger than I had expected. There is the museum of prehistory, primarily regarding evidence of prehistoric peoples in the Iberian peninsula. Very nice exhibits. Leading up through the Celts and other early migrants, then the influence of the Phoenicians and Greeks. Eventually showing history left by the Romans, and later by the Visigoths. Other exhibits include modern activities. Some parts of this are filled with mirrors and other features that give a somewhat disorienting feeling while walking through it. It is very well done. As far as I can tell, the museum is three floors in a rectangle around a very nice central courtyard."

"I absolutely loved this museum! Que lindo! The exhibition is done in a very smart way - it's informative, fun and keeps you occupied. Well done! And the entrance was free - which was a nice touch :)"

"Wow. What a museum. The exhibitions are really well presented.
I'm not a fan of modern art. But the modern stuff here was well presented.
There could have been more English explanations. Also, the English translations are really bad.
A great museum to visit. This city has lots to see and do. My visit was free.
My current city in the UK is Birmingham. The museum there is embarrassing. Valencia on the other hand, is a city to be proud of."
