Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the Murallas de Vejer for their excellent state of preservation and the historical ambiance they evoke. The walls offer a beautiful way to explore the charming Jewish Quarter and enjoy panoramic views. Some note that while well-maintained, they are a historical site with uneven terrain.

"They have been restored and consolidated several times, so they are in a good state of preservation. The wall surrounds a good part of the town, especially the Jewish Quarter, the busiest and oldest area in the town. They are two kilometers long and feature several towers and four entrance gates/arches: the Arch of the Nuns is the most famous of all, beautiful. It's worth strolling along the walled enclosure and enjoying the centuries of history that coexist within and without: there's a reason Vejer is one of the most beautiful towns in Spain."

"You hold so many charms within you!
A visit to the most beautiful town in Cádiz turned into a visit for me. Honestly, we arrived almost at dusk, but it's also worth exploring at night.
I'll say more than that, visit it."

Puri Perez

"This place transports you to another era. It has a barred window with breathtaking views. The walls must be restored, because they look clean and in excellent condition. There are beautiful corners all around."
