What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Mirador de la Granadella for its stunning, less-crowded views of the natural park and its role as a gateway to Cala Granadella. While access requires a bit of effort and sturdy shoes, the tranquil atmosphere and unique perspective are highly valued.
"Several of the reviews and photos here are in fact for the Mirador del Castell de la Granadella, which is not the same place!
The Mirador de la Granadella is the least visited of Javea's miradores - and offers views of a very different kind.
The Mirador de la Granadella gives views over the beautiful and stunning wilderness of the park - with the sea and the road leading to the cove visible, but not the main feature.
There is limited car parking close to the Mirador - although it is signposted from Carretera de La Guardia, it is better to put the Deposito into your Satnav, follow the route through Tosalet, and at the end you will find a small area of hard standing near the Deposito. From there it is a modest walk to the Mirador, either following the Cami and skirting round to the right at the end (easiest) or (a bit more strenuous) walking into the park (sturdy shoes recommended), turning left at the intersection with a sign to the Mirador, and then a walk up the side of the hill (all signposted) - or, of course, you can do the round trip going through the park and then coming back to the Deposito along the Cami.
A very special aspect of Javea!"
