What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Guests are captivated by the Parador's stunning 15th-century architecture and its prime central location. The breakfast is frequently praised for its variety, and the staff are noted for their friendliness. However, some visitors have experienced issues with room comfort, including firm mattresses and potential noise from ongoing construction. The lack of elevators and accessibility challenges in this historic building are also points of concern for some.
"Set in a fantastic building near the centre of Zafra. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is amazing. So much choice. The staff were all very helpful and kind.
Loved every minute of our stay .
Definitely recommend."

"A glorious building, beautiful interior and excellent staff. If you have driven to stay here your main issue here might be the car parking. If you can find a parking space in the square in front of the hotel, well done you! Rather than consulting the parking meter for charges (which seemed a little complicated to this tired old brain) it might be better to go to the hotel reception and ask for a 24hr ticket at a cost of €5 (Sep '25). You have to renew said ticket every 24 hours but I think it is worth the effort. The local parking attendants are very attentive. Buena suerte 🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸❤❤❤"

"The parador was beautiful on the outside and the lobby area and restaurant . The staff were very friendly and helpful . But the room was not what I saw on the photo when I picked the room online and the mattress was not comfortable a bit hard and a bit itchy for some reason . The room was a little warm so they said we could open the window since it was chilly outside so we did but then we were awoken early in the morning to construction sounds which didn’t allow us to rest like we wanted to when we picked this place . Overall the place is nice and maybe with the construction complete and maybe new mattresses this parador will be even better ."
